About This Project

This is a continuation of my YouTube poster series I’ve been doing on YouTube; showcasing the design of each poster as speed art. These are some of my favorite poster designs that I’ve done from April 2019 to July 2019.

These posters are created in Adobe Photoshop using imagery from free stock photo sites like Pexels.com and Unsplash.com as the starting point for each image. After selecting an image or two, I then experiment too see what I can create using different Photoshop tools and techniques.

Dust In The Wind

This surreal, minimalist poster design was created with Photoshop using a single image and some awesome scatter brushes that come with Photoshop CC. I was going for a sort of ‘recently snapped by Thanos’ look, but different. The speed design for this poster is here.

Wind Fish

This poster speed was also created with Adobe Photoshop using two stock photos, some layer blend effects, and a pretty cool looking blue to yellow gradient that adds some much needed colour into the design. Check out the speed design for this poster here.

Spaceman

This ‘dusted effect’ spaceman poster was created in Photoshop using an astronaut image with some blend effects and scatter brushes. Oh, and a bunch of pink and orange gradients. You can watch this speed design here.

Glitchy City

This glitchy poster design speed art was created in Adobe Photoshop using a photo of a city, the shape tool, and a bunch of layer blend effects. It took me awhile to figure out the main text but I’m pretty happy with the overall look. Check out the speed design on YouTube.
